Vi.ki for agents: MCP and API

Vi.ki has an MCP server, so an AI agent can read every viki the way a reader does: the pages, the moment in each video that shows what a paragraph says, and search. On Aion 2 it can also find a player's character on NC's official character pages and set it beside the builds and facts Vi.ki's tools are built on. Everything is read-only, free, and needs no key.

Connect

The server speaks MCP over streamable HTTP at one address:

Claude (web and desktop): Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector, with the address above.
Other clients: add a remote server of type http (streamable HTTP) with the address above. It is stateless: every request is one JSON-RPC message, and no session or sign-in is needed.

Tools

`list_vikis`

Every viki on Vi.ki: one video encyclopedia per subject (most are games), with its address and how many pages it has.

`get_viki`

One viki: its description and every page, by category, with each page's address and summary. Aion 2's viki has Guides (every class, progression, the hardest dungeons) and Tools categories.

Search one viki's pages by words; answers the matching pages with a snippet each.

`get_page`

A page's full text as Markdown, and its moments: each a YouTube video and the second where it shows what the paragraph says, with a link to that second and to the paragraph on Vi.ki. Cite a moment's youtube_url or page_link when you use it.

`aion2_find_character`

Find Aion 2 characters (global version) by name on NC's official character pages: up to 30 matches with class, level, server and the ids aion2_get_character needs.

name (required): the character's name, or its first letters (at least two)
region (required): the region the character plays in: naw North America West, nae North America East, eu Europe, la South America, as Asia

`aion2_get_character`

One Aion 2 character from NC's official character pages: level, class, item level, Combat Power, stats, titles, every piece of gear with its enhancement, pet and wings, every skill with its level, and the Daevanion nodes it has open. Vi.ki keeps each character it has read and answers from that; read says when NC was last asked, and history its item level and Combat Power on each day a reader had it read from NC (oldest first). To advise where to focus, compare it with aion2_get_builds for its class and aion2_get_facts item_levels.

`aion2_list_characters`

Every Aion 2 character readers have looked up on Vi.ki (the Characters wall at aion2.vi.ki/characters), the most recent first: name, class, level, server, item level, Combat Power, and each one's id (its page is the url, aion2.vi.ki/character/{id}), which aion2_get_character takes.

`aion2_top_characters`

Vi.ki Boards: the Aion 2 characters readers have looked up on Vi.ki for one class, ranked by item level (by=item) or Combat Power (by=power), with rank, id, name, level, server, item level and Combat Power, and how many the board ranks. These are Vi.ki's lookups, not NC's rankings; say so when quoting a place. Without class, how many characters each class has. Each class's board is aion2.vi.ki/top/{class}, a character's place aion2.vi.ki/top/{class}/{id}.

`aion2_get_item`

One piece of a character's gear from NC: its stats, sub stats, manastone slots, how far it enhances and where it comes from.

`aion2_get_builds`

The builds Vi.ki's Aion 2 Build Planner shows for a class (PvE, PvP, leveling), from the creators each names: skills in the order to level them, Stigmas, Daevanion boards, stat priority, gear, rotation, macros and tips, with sources.

Sourced Aion 2 facts behind Vi.ki's calculators, one topic at a time: energy (Odyle Energy refill, cap, cube costs), resets (daily and weekly reset per region), checklist (daily and weekly activities and caps), enhancement (official odds), item_levels (the tiers after level 45 and what each opens), daevanion (points and rules), sources. `aion2_get_daevanion_board`

A class's Daevanion boards (Nezekan, Zikel, Vaizel, Triniel, Azphel) as NC's character pages show them: without board, the list; with board, every node with its row, column, type, grade and effects.

Each tool is one call to Vi.ki's own API, which anyone may use the same way:

An error is JSON, {"error", "code", "ref"}; quote the code and reference if you report it. Error codes lists every code and what it says.

Limits and good use

Answers are kept up to ten minutes; an approved edit shows on the site at once and here within that time.
One address may make 600 tool calls an hour, and 120 Aion 2 character lookups.
Aion 2 characters come from NC's public character pages, read only when asked and kept ten minutes. They are the global version's characters only.
Page text is CC BY-SA 4.0: when you quote a page, link it. Videos stay their uploaders'; link a moment rather than describing it as yours.
